<p>As the Altcoin market cap has declined nearly 30% over the past few months, traders remain skeptical about the future of altcoins. Despite the current decline renowned crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe believes a significant rally for altcoins is imminent.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>However, his analysis, based on recent market trends and upcoming events, suggests a bullish future for altcoins and Ethereum in particular.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-altcoins-set-to-rally">Altcoins Set to Rally!!!</h2> 
<p>Michael van de Poppe has been vocal about his optimism regarding altcoins. However, he recently admitted that his portfolio had suffered from buying altcoins too early.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Perhaps recent market changes have made him more confident that a big wave of adoption is coming. He remains bullish, predicting that <a href="https://coinpedia.org/price-analysis/must-buy-altcoins-that-could-hit-a-new-all-time-high/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">altcoins will soon rise</a> despite widespread doubts.</p>

<p>Further into the analysis Van de Poppe addressed the common belief that altcoins are declining due to venture capital (VC) unlocks and complicated tokenomics. He argued that the real problem is not the basic structures but the unrealistic values given to many projects. While many projects have been inflated by speculation, the analyst sees a move toward more realistic valuations.</p> 
<p>Over the past week, he has noticed a trend where new token revenue generation mechanisms are emerging, providing clearer project valuations. This change, he believes, could help stabilize the market by basing values on real numbers instead of hype.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-ethereum-s-undervalued-potential">Ethereum’s Undervalued Potential</h2> 
<p>Van de Poppe highlighted Ethereum as a standout performer in the current crypto arena. He believes Ethereum’s ecosystem is very undervalued, especially given its strong growth, even as market sentiment remains bearish. He was surprised by the lack of excitement around the <a href="https://coinpedia.org/price-analysis/ethereum-etf-approval-next-week-these-altcoins-reveal-100-upside/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upcoming Ethereum ETF</a>, which he thinks is one of the biggest events in the crypto space.</p> 
<p>He views the ETF as a major event for the crypto space, potentially accelerating the adoption and success of the entire Web 2.5/3.0 ecosystem.&nbsp;</p> 
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-ethereum-s-promising-future">Ethereum’s Promising Future</h3> 
<p>Van de Poppe noted a big gap between the progress within the Ethereum ecosystem and the feelings about its price. He pointed out that retail investors often miss the bigger picture, focusing on short-term price changes instead of long-term fundamentals.</p>
