EigenLayer; sybil and distributed denial-of-service attacks prevention for EigenDA data availability service on the <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/ethereum-whale-stirs-the-market-with-unexpected-move/" data-wpel-link="internal">Ethereum</a> mainnet. According to EigenDA’s X post, the whitelist security measure uses an internet protocol address or Ethereum’s elliptic curve digital signature algorithm (ECDSA) authentication for advanced protection and secure access to the service. 
<h2 class="p1" style="text-align: justify" id="significant-achievement-by-the-eigenlayer-team">Significant Achievement by the EigenLayer Team</h2> 
ECDSA authentication is a cryptographic method used to verify the identity of a user, device, or system. The system, based on public key encryption principles, uses elliptic encryption to ensure secure authentication. 
EigenLayer aims to protect its service with the additional security feature while guaranteeing availability to all customers. EigenDA’s free tier offers a transfer rate of up to 768 kilobytes per 10-minute window, exceeding the needs of even the busiest roll-ups on Ethereum. For example, the Base network uses fewer than two blobs every 10 minutes.

Interested parties can collaborate with EigenDA to tailor solutions for their data needs by supporting a wide range of <a href="https://newslinker.co/category/mobile/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="exclude">applications</a> and <a href="https://finance.coin-turk.com/" data-wpel-link="exclude">innovations</a> requiring high-efficiency capabilities through the partner registration page. EigenDA produces synthetic loads of 0.6 megabytes per second and achieves peak throughput of up to 10 MB per second on the mainnet. 
EigenLayer is also working on implementing permissionless payments for blob transfer rates in EigenDA, planned to be released by the end of 2024. This feature will allow users to allocate bandwidth at a fixed rate to support high transfer rate demands. 
<h2 class="p1" style="text-align: justify" id="noteworthy-details">Noteworthy Details</h2> 
In May, EigenLayer completed the second phase of the EIGEN token airdrop, marking the end of the first airdrop season and contributing to the total distribution of 113 million EIGEN tokens, representing 6.7% of the supply allocated for airdrop events. 
Once claimed, the tokens will be temporarily locked until the end of the third quarter of 2024. However, users can still participate in staking and delegation activities with EigenDA operators through the EigenLayer web portal. Launched on the Ethereum mainnet in April 2024, EigenLayer has already amassed over $12 billion in deposits. The platform paves the way for new projects using a broader security network, eliminating the need for separate security solutions.
