The most popular Ethereum (ETH) wallet provider, MetaMask, plans to bridge a significant gap in the cryptocurrency space by launching Bitcoin (BTC) support in its wallets. The new feature is expected to arrive in as little as a month.&nbsp;
The move comes as another Bitcoin (BTC) bull cycle picks up momentum as spot exchange-traded funds enjoy over $1 billion in inflows in the past week. MetaMask currently uses Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) to bridge the gap between the top crypto coins.&nbsp;
Exchange-traded funds for Ethereum appear to be on the verge of being approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). On May 22, lawmakers voted in favor of the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act, which limits the SEC's regulatory power on cryptocurrencies.&nbsp;
