<p>Magic Eden, one of the biggest multi-chain NFT marketplaces and Launchpads in the Solana ecosystem, has partnered with APhone, a device-agnostic web-based virtual phone app that redefines the web3 mobile experience, to expand the DePIN experience in the Solana NFT ecosystem and beyond.</p>
<p>In a May 7, 2024, blog post, Magic Eden, the NFT marketplace, confirmed partnering with APhone to bring the DePIN experience to the Solana network and wider NFT communities. The joint team has also launched a non-fungible token collection to harness this crypto initiative.</p>

<p>By description, Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) is a peer-to-peer (P2P) network bridging physical infrastructure with blockchain technology to build and operate decentralized systems. According to <a href="https://www.coingecko.com/en/categories/depin" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CoinGecko</a>, the DePIN landscape has a market cap of over $32 billion.</p>

<p>Launched in September 2021, Magic Eden is one of the biggest multi-chain digital marketplaces for non-fungible tokens in the Solana ecosystem, with over $1.9 billion in trading sales volume and over 22 million monthly active users. The digital market platform allows users to buy, sell, and trade NFTs, including digital art, music, collectibles, and more.</p>
<p>For the past three years, Magic Eden has rapidly grown beyond Solana to support other networks like Ethereum, Polygon and Bitcoin. It rose to prominence in the Solana ecosystem due to its low transaction fees, zero listing fees, and feature-filled launchpad program, which allows users to mint their own NFT collections. The NFT marketplace is now home to the next generation of creators, with over 8,000 NFT collections.</p>

<p>Magic Eden and APhone have launched a non-fungible token collection to mark this remarkable milestone. Magic Eden users will be able to purchase the new APhone NFTs at a premium rate of 0.2 SOL, allowing them to begin their journey on the DeCloud-based smartphone. The new NFT collection, which features a fixed set of 5,000 NFTs, will go live today.</p>
