<p>The top crypto prices registered a mixed action as the Bitcoin (BTC) price soared above to the $71,000 level. In contrast, the Ethereum price dipped below the $3,600 mark. Meanwhile, other top altcoins, such as Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL) gained while XRP witnessed a significant plunge.</p> 
<h2 id="major-crypto-prices-today">Major Crypto Prices Today</h2> 
<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin price</a> was up by 0.96<em>%</em> reaching $71,185.07 at the time of writing on Friday, April 12. On the other hand, it’s trading volume dropped 24.14% to $30.13 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the crypto held a market capitalization of $1.40 trillion.</p> 
<p>Looking at altcoins, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/ethereum/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ethereum price</a> plummeted 0.34% to $3,550.61 at press time with a market valuation of $426.31 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume drop by 16.73%, reaching $13.71 billion. Meanwhile, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bnb/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Binance Coin (BNB) price</a> gained 0.56%, reaching $615.62. On the contrary, its 24-hour trade plunged 30.74% to $1.24 billion.</p> 
<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/solana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Solana price</a> continued trading below the $180 mark today. The Solana price was up by 0.47%<strong>,</strong> settling at $174.56. In contrast, SOL witnessed a 17.51%% decline in trade volume to $2.65 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">XRP price</a> sustained the $0.61 level despite a decline. The XRP price recorded a drop of 0.66%, reaching $0.6135. On the other hand, XRP’s trading volume plummeted 76.67% to $1.18 billion.</p> 
<p>Meanwhile, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/cardano/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cardano price</a> was up by 0.65% to $0.5899 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a 28.21% dip in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $331.07 million. As the top crypto prices rebounded, the popular meme coins followed. The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/dogecoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dogecoin price</a> was up by 1.46% to $0.1996 while its rival, <a href="https://coingape.com/price/shiba-inu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shiba Inu price</a> gained 0.10% and traded at $0.00002773.</p>

In addition, the 24-hour trade volume for PEPE surged by 42.60% to $743.64 million.</p> 
<h3 id="ondo-soars-over-8">Ondo Soars Over 8%</h3> 
<p>Ondo (ONDO), an Ethereum ecosystem crypto, recorded a surge of over 8% and ranked as one of the top crypto gainers today. The Indo price was up by 8.15% to $0.8372 at the time of reporting. Moreover, its trade volume spiked by a 41.79% a and stood at $226.33 million. Furthermore, the Ondo crypto recorded a high of $0.8541 amid the rally today.</p>
