With an impressive installed <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/">hash rate</a> of 8 EH/s and plans to escalate this figure to 10 EH/s by mid-2024, TeraWulf is not just expanding its mining capacity but is doing so in an environmentally responsible manner. The company's commitment to leveraging over 95% zero-carbon energy sources for its operations sets a benchmark for the industry, aiming for a future where 100% of its energy consumption is derived from zero-carbon sources, according to <a href="https://investors.terawulf.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/72/terawulf-announces-march-2024-production-and-operations">Terawulf</a>. 
March's operations yielded a noteworthy production of 379 Bitcoin, averaging 12.2 Bitcoin per day, at an average power cost of $13,798 per Bitcoin mined. This efficiency gain is partly attributed to the replacement of 1,000 older generation miners with the more energy-efficient S19k Pro miners, with an additional 3,000 S19k Pro miners set to be deployed in early April. This strategic upgrade not only demonstrates TeraWulf's dedication to enhancing its operational efficiency but also its commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of Bitcoin mining. 
Furthermore, TeraWulf's Lake Mariner facility has seen significant advancements, including the implementation of third-party firmware that promises a 10% efficiency improvement across a substantial portion of the mining fleet. The company's active engagement in demand response programs and its recent expansion within the NYISO Operating Reserve program highlight its proactive approach to energy management and operational excellence. 
The ongoing construction of Building 4 at the Lake Mariner facility, expected to be completed by mid-2024, will further augment TeraWulf's mining capacity. Additionally, the exploration of a large-scale, high-performance computing project at the same site indicates TeraWulf's ambition to diversify its technological endeavors and reinforce its infrastructure to support future growth.
