On March 19, 2024, the overall crypto market, along with the recently launched Book of Meme (BOME), experienced a price fall. Amid this, a top BOME token holder address, sundayfunday.sol, sold a massive 340 million tokens. However, after selling massive BOME tokens the owner of the wallet address made a huge profit of over $3.62 million despite selling these BOME tokens at an average price of $0.017. Why BOME token price is falling? 
Besides selling a massive 340 million <a href="https://news.todayq.com/what-is-book-of-meme-bome-crypto-explained/">BOME tokens</a>, this top BOME holder still holds a massive 900 million Solana-based meme tokens, BOME. As the price of BOME has continuously fallen for the past few days, the asset’s value has shrunk to $8.38 million. 
This massive selling comes during a period when the overall cryptocurrency market seems to be in turmoil. Despite recently launched tokens, top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and many others are also experiencing massive price falls in their value, and currently, the overall crypto market dropping by over 6%. 
However, this is not the first time when this BOME holder sold massive amounts of tokens. Earlier, on March 17, 2024, this BOME holder sold 190 million tokens for 19,600 SOL through Raydium. BOME and other cryptocurrencies’ performance&nbsp; 
Currently, BOME is trading near $0.0115, and in the last 24 hours, it experienced a price fall of over 30%. If we look at the performance of BOME over a longer period, in the last 7 days, BOME experienced an upside momentum of 1120%. Additionally, in the last 30 days, BOME experienced a price surge of over 1120%. 
Besides BOME’s price performance on March 19, 2024, the world’s biggest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, is currently experiencing a price fall of nearly 6% in the last 24 hours, whereas Ethereum and Solana also experienced price falls of over 8% in the last 24 hours. 
This massive price drop across the cryptocurrency market has caused a liquidation of half a billion in the last 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on the OKX cryptocurrency exchange in ETH-USD-SWAP, with a value of around $7.31 million. 
Additionally, the highest liquidation happened on the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, with $61.01 million of liquidation, and the 2nd highest liquidation occurred on the OKX cryptocurrency exchange, with a liquidation of over $50 million in the last 24 hours.
