<p>The top crypto prices today registered a mixed action as the Bitcoin (BTC) price neared the $73,000 level again after attaining an all-time high at $73,641.04. In contrast, the Ethereum price fell below the $4,000 mark. Meanwhile, other top altcoins, such as XRP and Cardano (ADA) dipped as Solana (SOL) rallied.</p> 
<h2 id="major-crypto-prices-today">Major Crypto Prices Today</h2> 
<p>The Bitcoin price sustained above the $72,000 mark. The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin price</a> was up by 1%, reaching $72,906.33 at the time of writing on Thursday, March 14. On the other hand, it’s trading volume dipped by 21.49% to $48.03 billion in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the crypto boasted a market cap of $1.43 trillion.</p> 
<p>In the altcoin arena, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/ethereum/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ethereum price</a> dropped by 2.12% to $3,957.90 at press time with a market valuation of $475.46 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume decline by 16.45%, reaching $21.88 billion. Meanwhile, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bnb/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Binance Coin (BNB) price</a> was up by 13.72%, reaching $611.68. Moreover, its 24-hour trade volume gained by 53.08% to $6.17 billion.</p> 
<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/solana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Solana price</a> neared the $170 level. The Solana price surged by 12.62%, settling at $168.68. In addition, SOL witnessed a 16.99% hike in trade volume to $6.63 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">XRP price</a> dropped below the $0.68 mark. The XRP price recorded a slump of 2.80%, reaching $0.6759. Moreover, XRP’s trading volume plummeted by 34.01% to $2.39 billion.</p> 
<p>Meanwhile, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/cardano/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cardano price</a> tumbled by 0.39% to $0.7482 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a 6.60% plunge in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $874.63 million. As the top crypto prices witnessed volatility, popular meme coins were also affected. The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/dogecoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dogecoin price</a> was up by 4.89% to $0.1805 while its rival, <a href="https://coingape.com/price/shiba-inu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shiba Inu price</a> rose by 0.65% in value and traded at $0.00003316.</p>

In addition, its 24-hour trade volume spiked 71.05% to $2.30 billion.</p> 
<h3 id="dogwifhat-soars-23">Dogwifhat Soars 23%</h3> 
<p>Dogwifhat (WIF), a Solana-based dog-themed meme coin, recorded an impressive surge of over 23% and ranked the top crypto gainer today. The WIF price soared by 23.41% to $2.86 at the time of reporting. Moreover, its trade volume surged by 37.11% to $371.45 million. Furthermore, the Dogwifhat crypto recorded a high of $4.50 amid the rally recently.</p>
