Solana-based Phantom Wallet is gaining significant attention from cryptocurrency enthusiasts, primarily due to its potential airdrop. Recent data reveals that the Solana-based Phantom Wallet garnered over 3.2 million monthly active users in January 2024. Record crypto users on Phantom wallet 
This significant increase of 3.2 million active users on Phantom in January 2024 represents a remarkable 220% surge from the 1 million users a year ago. Furthermore, the wallet experienced substantial growth in installations, with nearly 1 million crypto users installing thePhantom wallet. This number reflects a substantial 460% increase compared to the previous year when only 167,000 crypto users had installed it. 
Looking at these numbers the Phantom CEO and co-founder Brandon Millman shared his thoughts and made a statement that “These numbers are essentially our peak” and outperformed usage and metrics from the previous crypto bull market in 2021 and early 2022.”
The significant activity of crypto users on Phantom can be attributed to the potential airdrop it offers. In the past, crypto users witnessed the success of Jito and <a href="https://news.todayq.com/jup-and-sol-prices-soar-amid-jupiters-airdrop-waves/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Jupiter airdrops</a> within the Solana ecosystem. This time, to qualify for the Phantom airdrop, enthusiasts are actively engaging with all aspects related to the Phantom wallet.
For information, Phantom Wallet is similar to MetaMask and Trust Wallet, serving as a secure platform for storing cryptocurrencies.
