This move comes on the heels of the company’s successful conversion of its Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) into a spot exchange-traded fund (ETF), which has positioned Grayscale’s Bitcoin fund as a leader in terms of assets under management (AUM), boasting an impressive $21.21 billion. The firm’s ambition to convert its Ethereum Trust (ETHE) into a spot ETF is pending approval from the SEC, with the crypto community eagerly awaiting the decision expected later this year.</p>
<p>The introduction of the Grayscale Crypto Sectors framework, in partnership with FTSE Russell in October, marked a pivotal moment in the firm’s strategy.
