<p>While Bitcoin ETFs made a triumphant debut in the US, <a href="https://coinedition.com/approval-for-ethereum-or-xrp-etf-hangs-on-the-balance-heres-why/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">the wait for its Ethereum counterpart continues</a>. Fidelity, one of the leading applicants, received a delayed decision from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, pushing the final resolution to March 5, 2024.<br><br>“The Commission finds it appropriate to designate a longer period within which to take action on the proposed rule change so that it has sufficient time to consider the proposed rule change and the issues raised therein,” the <a href="https://www.sec.gov/files/rules/sro/cboebzx/2024/34-99390.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">filing</a> said.<br></p>
