 <p>Etherscan, Ethereum’s (ETH) blockchain data explorer, has acquired its counterpart in the Solana (SOL) ecosystem, Solscan.</p>
 <p>Solscan launched in 2021 and has served more than 3 million monthly users since then, according to a press release announcing the acquisition.</p>

 <p>Both websites offer address information, token and transaction data, application programming interfaces (APIs), dashboards and non-fungible token (NFT) metadata.</p>
 <p>Matthew Tan, chief executive and founder of Etherscan, says the Solscan team has proven their expertise and offered detailed insights and analytics.</p>
 <p><em>“Their expertise in making blockchain data accessible and user-friendly also aligns perfectly with our mission at Etherscan.”&nbsp;</em></p>
 <p>In the acquisition announcement, the Etherscan team pledges to continue providing “credibly neutral and equitable access to blockchain data.” They also plan to integrate additional <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="Category Features" href="https://thebittimes.com/features.html">Features</a> across both explorers.</p>
 <p>The Solscan purchase comes amid a particularly ascendant period for Solana. The Ethereum rival’s native token, SOL, is trading at $98.86 and is up more than 313% in the past three months. The 5th-ranked crypto asset by market is down more than 8% in the past 24 hours, however.</p>
 <p>ETH, by contrast, is up around 27% since the beginning of October. The second-ranked crypto asset by market cap is trading at $2,208 at time of writing and is down more than 6.5% in the past 24 hours.</p>
