This video, which alters an interview on CGTN, demonstrates the alarming level of realism achievable with deepfake technology.
This incident underscores the growing trend of using AI in perpetrating scams. Prime Minister Lee stressed that these videos are deceptive and potentially damaging, as they might lead unsuspecting individuals to invest in fraudulent schemes.
