Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins are experiencing retreats as there is very little time left until the end of 2023.
While investors who saw these declines as an opportunity also made purchases, Lookonchain said that the new wallets created were purchasing altcoins.
Accordingly, newly created wallets purchased Chainlink (LINK) and Maker DAO (MKR) from Binance during the day.
The 0xE68E wallet purchased 3,150 MKR worth $4.55 million from Binance, while the x8eAD wallet purchased 136,146 LINK worth $2.05 million from Binance.
Lookonchain also added that the x8eAD wallet has withdrawn 384,006 LINK worth $5.79 million from Binance in the last 10 days.

At the time of writing, LINK continues to trade at $15.18 and MKR continues to trade at $1,457.
