This alarming transaction was advertised on <a href="https://breachforums.is/Thread-SELLING-BINANCE-DATA-REQUEST-PANEL?highlight=binance">Breach Forums</a> and involved compromised email accounts from law enforcement officials. Such incidents highlight the vulnerabilities within these systems.</p> 
<p>The breach is believed to be connected to a 2023 malware campaign targeting computers in the law enforcement agencies of Taiwan, Uganda, and the Philippines. These compromised systems allowed unauthorized access to Binance’s login panel, Kodex, raising questions about <a href="https://coinpedia.org/news/sec-eyes-virtual-inspection-of-binance-us-tech-systems/">data security</a>.</p>

<p>Security expert Brian Krebs has highlighted this trend. Hackers are adept at manipulating police email systems, sending deceptive EDRs that can compromise individual safety. This approach mirrors tactics seen in the Ledger Connect System breach.</p>

<p>While <a href="https://x.com/CoinDesk/status/1737067366784139465?s=20">speaking </a>to Coindesk, Jarek Jakubcek, Binance’s head of Law Enforcement Training, has expressed concern over these deceptive tactics. He shared an incident where a private investigator, posing as law enforcement, attempted to obtain customer data from Binance using a fake domain.</p>
