            <p>FIFA, the global authority of football, is set to release a limited series of digital collectibles later this week, offering holders a chance to witness the 2026 World Cup final.</p> 
            <p>The organization <a href="https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/tournaments/mens/fifa-club-world-cup/saudi-arabia-2023/articles/plus-collect-new-collection-collaboration-modex" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">announced</a> that the first batch will include 100 rare collectibles, granting opportunities to secure tickets for the World Cup final. Additionally, 900 other digital collectibles will be issued on the Polygon network and made available on the OpenSea platform.</p>

            <p>Initially, FIFA’s NFTs<a href="https://www.fifa.com/about-fifa/commercial/media-releases/fifa-to-launch-fifa-collect" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"> were minted</a> on the Algorand blockchain. However, the upcoming collection’s second phase will see a shift to Polygon, a blockchain gaining traction among web3 gaming projects. Future launches of FIFA digital collectibles are also slated to utilize Polygon, expanding the organization’s footprint in the blockchain space.</p> 
            <p>The initiative, named “FIFA+ Collect,” was first introduced last year. It was described as a way for football fans globally to affordably own unique digital collectibles. This announcement coincides with the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup 2023, scheduled to start tomorrow in Saudi Arabia.</p> 
            <p>Despite a recent uptick, NFT trading volumes remain significantly lower compared to the heights of the last bull run, when top-tier PFP (Profile Picture) NFTs like those from Bored Ape Yacht Club fetched millions.</p> 
            <p>Nonetheless, big brands continue to explore digital collectibles as a means to engage and monetize their most dedicated fans. FIFA’s foray into NFTs reflects a growing trend among major organizations leveraging blockchain technology to offer exclusive experiences and merchandise to their global audience.</p>
