Avalanche price (AVAX) ongoing rally <a href="https://news.todayq.com/crypto-market-crash-400-million-in-liquidations-amid-bitcoin-slide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">stunned the crypto market</a>. With a surge of around 13% over the past 24 hours, AVAX showed a decoupling trick amid a recent broad market decline. The crypto market printed red indexes all around as the cumulative digital asset market cap lost $50 billion over the past day. Avalanche price jumps by 66% in 7 days 
Data depicts that <a href="https://news.todayq.com/avalanche-avax-gets-into-top-10-crypto-with-100-jump/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Avalanche’s ongoing price</a> surge has made it one of the biggest gainers among the top cryptos. AVAX price jumped by over 66% in the last 7 days, while, it has established a surge of around 230% on the year to date (YTD) basis. 
As per the data provided by DefiLlama, the total value locked (TVL) on the Avalanche chain registered a surge of 64% in the last 1 month. It now stands at around $872 million. This whopping jump has helped the AVAX chain to surpass Optimism, while, it is now looking ahead to overtake Polygon in terms of TVL. Polygon’s TVL stands at around $873.89 million, at the press time. 
Avax is trading at an average price of $36.37, at the press time. Its 24 hour trading volume is up by 130% to stand at $2.7 billion. Its market cap stands at $13.03 billion. Whales showing interest in AVAX? 
IntoTheBlock reported that the number of large transactions involving $AVAX (Avalanche) is showing an upward trend. This reached nearly 1000 transactions larger than $100,000 in the past week. Although these levels are not yet comparable to those seen in the last bull market, the increase in such transactions is considered a positive sign for the bulls in the market. 
Large transactions often indicate increased activity and interest from investors. However, the recent surge in sizable AVAX transactions suggests growing confidence or participation in the crypto. This data may be indicative of positive sentiment or increased investment activity in the Avalanche market. 
The Avalanche ecosystem is witnessing exciting developments with notable projects gaining attention. Some of these projects include Avaissance, Evergreen, Firewood, and the upcoming Teleporter.
