 <p>Litecoin has performed poorly thus far in 2023. </p> 
 <p>On Jan. 1, LTC was hovering around $70.00. It then gained bullish momentum in anticipation of its halving event in August.&nbsp;</p> 
 <p>As a result, the coin surged as high as $113.23 in July. However, it failed to maintain these gains before retracing.</p>
