<a href="https://coin-turk.com/bu-altcoin-450-milyon-dolar-yatirim-aldi-kurumsal-yatirimcilar-bu-kripto-paraya-akin-ediyor" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Polygon</a> co-founder Jordi Baylina announced that by 2024, various <a href="https://coin-turk.com/fiyati-ucuracak-seviyeyi-verdi-bitcoin-bircok-hamlesini-bilen-analistten-altcoin-krali-icin-carpici-analiz" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum</a> Layer-2 scaling networks will come together to complete the <a href="http://en.coin-turk.com/millions-of-matic-tokens-transferred-to-binance-and-coinbase-amid-market-plunge/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Polygon</a> 2.0 inter-chain coordination protocol. Baylina stated that 2024 will be an important year to see how the zero-knowledge proofs (ZK-proofs) can be scaled and integrated across various networks in the Polygon ecosystem.
<h2 class="p1" style="text-align: justify" id="polygon-2-0-countdown-continues">Polygon 2.0 Countdown Continues</h2>
Polygon co-founder Jordi Baylina emphasized that the various networks comprising the Polygon ecosystem have their tokens, sequencers, and data availability solutions. The steps towards transitioning to Polygon 2.0 will involve various upgrades that continuously and limitlessly combine different protocols with ZK-proof <a href="https://newslinker.co/category/technology/" data-wpel-link="exclude" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">technology</a>.
The team introduced Polygon 2.0 to the public in June, outlining plans for a scaling ecosystem consisting of four protocol layers. According to this plan, the Staking, interop, execution, and proving layers will play a role in creating a connected chain ecosystem that allows fast value transfer and information sharing.
As expressed by Baylina, 2023 was an important year for Polygon, and various products were introduced to enhance the performance of the scaling protocol and provide developers with tools to build decentralized applications (DApps) and interoperable services using zero-knowledge <a href="http://en.coin-turk.com/ripple-case-leads-to-a-historic-decision-and-cryptocurrency-market-surges/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum</a> Virtual Machine (zkEVM) and other layer integration:

<h2 class="p1" style="text-align: justify" id="2023-the-year-of-polygon">2023: The Year of Polygon</h2>
Polygon released the open-source zkEVM mainnet beta version in March 2023, reducing transaction costs and increasing the efficiency of smart contract deployments. The technology allows thousands of transactions to be batched off-chain with a minimal data summary sent on the Ethereum network, mimicking the transaction execution process of the Ethereum network. The open-source zkEVM enables DApps to be scaled through batched transaction processing, unlocking higher efficiency.
The release of Polygon’s Chain Development Kit (CDK) in September 2023 significantly expanded the ecosystem. Baylina previously stated that the service, which allows developers to launch ZK-supported Layer-2 protocols on Ethereum according to their project requirements, provides on-demand scaling without fragmenting liquidity in all of Polygon’s chains and the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
