The global digital asset market printed red indexes all over on Monday as the biggest of the cryptos traded under <a href="https://news.todayq.com/bitcoin-drops-2-before-38k-1-billion-withdrawn-in-2-weeks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">heavy selling pressure</a>. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) prices registered a decline of 2% and 4%, respectively over the past 24 hours which has left a fearful sentiment among investors. Bitcoin price up 40% in last 60 days 
Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s largest crypto saw a drop of almost 2% in the last 24 hours. This decline comes in after a good subtle upward run to $38k by BTC. Its price is up by 40% in the last 60 days. Bitcoin is trading at an average price of $36,997, at the press time. BTC’s 24 hour trading volume is up by 95% to stand at $17.9 billion. 
IT Tech, an on-chain analyst, reported that over 1000 BTC Bitcoin flowed into exchanges within the last hour, contributing to a sudden drop in the price to $37,000. The instant influx of BTC into trading platforms has triggered fluctuations in the market. Liquidation breaches $132 million 
The crypto market’s recent movements have come with consequences for traders. Coinglass reported that over the past day, more than 67k traders were liquidated. The total liquidation value of $132.19 million. The largest single liquidation order occurred on the OKX exchange, involving an ETH-USD-SWAP with a value of $3.91 million. 
As per the data, more than $100 million worth of long positions were liquidated in the last 24 hours, while, $31.65 million worth of short positions were liquidated in the same period. This depicts that traders were expecting an upward movement in the market. Meanwhile, the cumulative crypto market cap dropped by around 2% over the past day. It now stands at $1.42 trillion. 
On the other hand, US equity markets sustained a fourth consecutive week of gains. The Dow Jones rose by 442 points (+1.27%), the S&amp;P 500 posted a 1% gain, and the Nasdaq increased by 0.91%. The VIX, Wall Street’s fear gauge, closed at 12.45%, its lowest since January 2020. Economic data showed the US Composite Flash PMI for November holding steady at 50.7, with mixed results in Manufacturing and stronger-than-expected Services PMI at 50.8.
