However, as the year is coming to a close, a piece of bad news has slightly affected the value of BTC. Crypto analysts were hopeful that the SEC would approve spot Bitcoin ETF fillings by November 17. But on November 16, the SEC announced a delay on its spot Bitcoin ETF fillings.&nbsp;
After the news, BTC lost 5.3% in value and went from trading at $37,934.63 on November 16 to $35,901.24 on November 17. However, remembering that the SEC is highly likely to approve ETF fillings in January 2024 is worth remembering. So, Bitcoin investors can rest assured that the coin won’t lose too much of its value.&nbsp;
According to BTC price prediction, the coin will trade at $67,589.21 by the end of 2024 if bullish trends continue. However, BTC can trade at $54,440.84 by the end of 2024 if bearish sentiments overtake the market.&nbsp;

Like BTC, 2023 has also proven to be a good year for XRP. At the start of 2023, XRP was trading at $0.3363. But since then, it has gained 85.4% to reach $0.6238 by November 17. On October 20, 2023, the SEC dropped claims against two Ripple Lab Executives. The news further improved XRP’s value.&nbsp;
On November 7, Ripple announced a partnership with Onafriq, an Africa-focused payment fintech startup. The partnership aims to make borders matter less when it comes to sending payments within, to, and from Africa. Although the partnership can be beneficial for Ripple, it did not have a positive effect on the price of XRP.&nbsp;
Since the announcement on November 7, XRP has lost 17.5% in value to go from $0.7155 to $0.5901 on November 17. Whether the altcoin price will continue to go down or not is yet to be seen.&nbsp;
But there is some positive news for investors as XRP price prediction for 2024 reveals the coin could trade at $1.1561. However, the prediction is based on the market’s bullish trends. In case of bearish trends, XRP can trade at $0.9980 by the end of 2024.
