<p style="text-align: justify">South Korea’s largest telecom operator, SK Telecom, plans to further develop its T wallet through partnerships. After collaborating with <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/italys-central-bank-supports-defi-project-including-polygon-labs/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Polygon</a> Labs in August for the T wallet, the telecom operator has now partnered with Aptos (APT), a Layer 1 Blockchain that uses Move, a new smart contract programming language developed independently by engineers from Meta (formerly known as Facebook) Diem Blockchain.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-sk-telecom-aptos-partnership-and-t-wallet-strong"><strong>SK Telecom – Aptos Partnership and T Wallet</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">SK Telecom, the largest telecom operator in South Korea, has partnered with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to enhance its T wallet, also known as Web3 wallet, with APT, a leading altcoin. The three-way partnership aims to improve connections with customer-preferred mainnets and decentralized applications, focusing on the T wallet, as stated by the South Korean telecommunications company on LinkedIn.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">SK Telecom stated that the partnership with Aptos will be the first Ethereum-compatible virtual machine blockchain integration. In a statement, the company mentioned, “By connecting to the promising decentralized application ecosystem in Aptos, we will provide tangible value to users. This integration, leveraging the innovative MoveVM Blockchain <a href="https://newslinker.co/category/technology/" data-wpel-link="exclude" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">technology</a> offered by Aptos, represents a significant progress in making Web3 services more accessible to a broader audience.”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Avery Ching, Co-founder and CTO of Aptos, expressed excitement about Move’s ability to unlock new internet experiences with sub-second latency, best-in-class efficiency, and enterprise-grade operations (backed by Blockchain) on his personal X (formerly known as Twitter) account.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-sk-telecom-s-advancements-in-web3-strong"><strong>SK Telecom’s Advancements in Web3</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">The partnership with Aptos follows SK Telecom’s collaboration with CryptoQuant last month for the launch of the T wallet. The wallet product is designed to provide users with access to a Blockchain-based application on their phones for storing cryptocurrencies.</p>
