There were no allegations of fraud or any misrepresentations. In July 2023, the Court delivered a victory to Ripple, ruling that XRP is not a security. The SEC then tried to appeal the Court’s ruling and that effort failed. And today, in a capitulation, the SEC dismissed with prejudice the claims against Ripple’s CEO and Chairman that were scheduled for trial next year.
