<p>A recent tweet from crypto analyst Black Swan Capitalist claimed he <a href="https://twitter.com/VersanAljarrah/status/1714661693010116752?t=mJCav7Chjx3rAFLhIJnhyQ&amp;s=19" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">published</a> a report that major financial institutions like BlackRock and JPMorgan Chase have a strong interest in the cryptocurrency XRP. However, he alleges the report was quickly removed after gaining traction.</p>
<p>This has led to speculation within the crypto community that these major firms likely have significant interest in XRP, even though they are publicly focusing conversations on Bitcoin and Bitcoin-related products.</p>

<p>BlackRock and JPMorgan have not confirmed rumors of any increased interest in <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="https://captainaltcoin.com/ripple-xrp-price-prediction/" title="XRP" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP</a>. However, some argue it would align with their interests to keep any XRP plans private for now while publicly talking up Bitcoin.</p>
<p><em>“Institutions will distract with Bitcoin talk,” said Black Swan Capitalist. “But their interests may be with XRP behind the scenes.</em>“</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="potential-interest-driven-by-xrp-s-utility">Potential Interest Driven by XRP’s Utility</h2>
<p>Some speculate these firms are interested in XRP because it provides faster and cheaper cross-border payments.</p>
<p><em>“XRP is built for payments, which is attractive to banks,” said crypto analyst Jane Smith. “The interest makes sense even if not public.”</em></p>
<p>For now, BlackRock and JPMorgan remain silent on the rumored XRP interest. But their priorities may not fully align with the crypto narratives they push publicly.</p>
