The attack appears to have been a flash loan attack, targeting the AVAX-sAVAX liquidity pool. It is not yet known how the hackers carried out the attack. This is not the first time Platypus has suffered a hack, with a similar flash loan attack in February resulting in a loss of $8.5 million.</p>
