<p>Crypto enthusiasts are expressing exasperation and disappointment with US politicians’ promises in the latest presidential election campaigns. Despite politicians vowing to be “very supportive” of crypto, many in the community view these declarations as empty promises.</p>
<p>As crypto gains mainstream recognition, various sectors, including politics, seek to integrate Bitcoin. <p>Specifically, with the <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/legal-expert-challenges-secs-confusing-definition-of-crypto-assets/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">actions of the SEC</a>, it is hard to believe that clear crypto regulations will come to light. More so, the <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/cardano-ceo-appalled-at-sbfs-soft-treatment-amid-mounting-evidence-of-fraud/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">partial treatment of SBF</a> so far despite substantial evidence of his fraudulent activity, further clouds hope for crypto freedom in the USA.</p>
<p>However, it seems politicians still see the power behind the crypto community. In the current US Presidential election season, political parties are seizing the opportunity to incorporate crypto into their campaigns.&nbsp;</p>

Kennedy</a> and <a href="https://www.flgov.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ron DeSantis</a> have made Bitcoin a central theme of their campaigns. However, some crypto enthusiasts remain skeptical of their promises.</p>
<p>Crypto proponents argue that politicians often prioritize gaining votes over fulfilling their promises, making it highly unlikely that they will deliver on their utopian pledges regarding crypto. They emphasize the need for the community to remain cautious and not be swayed by political rhetoric.</p>
<p>According to one <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/175mqy5/even_as_many_politicians_are_making_claims_to_be/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">discussion</a> online, the consensus in the crypto community is to adopt one of Bitcoin’s core values: trustlessness. Some crypto users caution against placing too much trust in politicians. Still, the only way to know the sincerity of the candidates’ words for sure is after the results of the election.</p>
<p>Ultimately, while many crypto community members remain hopeful based on the previous actions of some of the candidates in the running, some others remain skeptical about the political promises surrounding crypto. No doubt, both sides will watch closely to see if these pledges translate into meaningful actions once the election dust settles.</p>
