This week, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) postponed its ruling on spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) proposals from Valkyrie, WisdomTree, and Invesco. This latest SEC delay applies specifically to spot Bitcoin ETFs, which would allow direct ownership of the cryptocurrency itself.
