Now, the Canadian singer is all set to perform in Australia and New Zealand. The tour will be backed by the world’s largest <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="crypto exchange" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/crypto-exchange.html">crypto exchange</a>,&nbsp;Binance. In fact, this is the first global concert tour that has integrated <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="Web3" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/web3.html">Web3</a> technology for an “enhanced” fan experience.</p>

 <p>According to the official statement, more than 30,000 fans have joined&nbsp;Binance&nbsp;and The Weeknd’s online challenges via EnterTheDimension.com. Consequently, 15,000 Souvenir NFTs have been claimed across 14 countries on the tour so far. Rachel Conlan,&nbsp;VP of Global Marketing at Binance, was optimistic about unlocking the power of <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="Web3" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/web3.html">Web3</a> experiences via this partnership. Commenting on how this could be a game-changer, she said,</p> 
 <p><strong>“We are just scratching the surface of how we utilize the power of&nbsp;crypto&nbsp;and blockchain technology to set new standards in the entertainment industry.”</strong></p>

 <p>Binance&nbsp;will be offering an “exclusive” NFT collection for The Weeknd’s tour. This will feature “distinctive artwork and provide holders with access to an array of enticing benefits,” the statement noted. These NFTs will be available a few months down the line, in 2023.</p> 
 <p>As far as&nbsp;Australia&nbsp;and&nbsp;New Zealand&nbsp;are concerned, Binance users will get access to opportunities like special ticket presales for selected shows and limited-edition Souvenir NFTs as tokens of appreciation. These NFTs will further unlock the chance to win autographed merchandise, entry to exclusive events, and even VIP access to The Weeknd’s concerts.</p> 
 <p>The state of the broader NFT has not been appealing lately. The floor prices of collections like the Bored Ape Yacht Club are down by around 85% at the moment. In fact, the sales on top blockchains are also significantly down. Over the past 30 days, $20.6 million in NFT transactions have been settled on the BNB Chain.
