The <a href="https://coinedition.com/market/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency market</a> intelligence platform Messari revealed in a tweet yesterday that Optimism (OP), Hedera (HBAR), and Solana (SOL) were the three best smart contract gainers against Ethereum (ETH) over the past month. According to the post, OP was the top performer in this regard and gained 42% against the leading altcoin.

HBAR was the next best smart contract gainer against ETH for the month and outperformed ETH by 28% during this period. Lastly, SOL strengthened 9% against the largest altcoin in terms of market cap.
