According to CoinMarketCap (CMC) data, the total market value of the cryptocurrency ecosystem has also reached $1.2 trillion with a 0.3% increase in the last 24 hours.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In recent weeks, the leading cryptocurrency <strong>Bitcoin (BTC)</strong> has consolidated around the price levels of $29,500 to $31,500. However, after failing to surpass the $31,500 levels, it experienced a decline again within the last week and fell below the $30,000 price levels. Bitcoin (BTC) attempted to rise again in the morning hours but has not yet surpassed the $30,000 price levels and currently stands at $29,800 at the time of writing. Additionally, there has been a significant decrease of around 30% in the total trading volume of the leading cryptocurrency <strong>BTC</strong> in the last 24 hours.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The cryptocurrency market started the weekend with low volatility. According to the latest data shared by Coinglass, approximately $40 million worth of short and long positions were liquidated within the last 24 hours.</p> 
<h2 style="text-align: justify;" id="highlighted-cryptocurrencies-of-the-day">Highlighted Cryptocurrencies of the Day</h2> 
<p style="text-align: justify;">Despite the sideways movement in the cryptocurrency market and the leading cryptocurrency <strong>BTC</strong> throughout the week, Stellar (XLM) recorded significant value increases and continued its upward trend with a 6% increase within the last 24 hours, trading at $0.16 price levels. Alongside the rise in Stellar (XLM), Casper (CSPR) and TRON (TRX) also stood out among the highlighted cryptocurrencies of the day.</p> 
<p style="text-align: justify;">Stellar (XLM) continued its upward trend throughout the day and also recorded a value increase of over 20% within the last week, making it the third highest-performing cryptocurrency among the top 100 cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization.</p> 
<p style="text-align: justify;">On the other hand, Maker (MKR), Polkadot (<a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/three-altcoins-poised-for-upswing-amid-crypto-slump/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DOT</a>), Curve DAO Token (CRV), <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/get-ready-for-a-surprise-rally-this-altcoin-will-surprise-you-with-its-rise/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Chainlink</a> (LINK), and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) were among the cryptocurrencies that experienced the highest percentage decrease in market value within the last 24 hours, according to CMC data, following their recent declines.</p>
