Chainlink

Oracles are one of the fundamental pillars of DeFi because they are the foundation for providing us with information outside of Smart Contracts. In this way, we can obtain fundamental information from them, such as the price of an asset or the exact time.
Many define oracles as the connection between the cryptographic world and the outside world.
We can differentiate oracles into two types: centralized and decentralized.
The difference is that basic, centralized oracles are made by a single entity, and this entity controls everything about them. On the other side, decentralized oracles are composed of nodes that provide us with data, thus avoiding any kind of manipulation, censorship, and different problems.
One of the greatest advantages and utilities of the oracles is their use in DeFi; thanks to them, we can build completely automated strategies due to the data provided by these oracles. The procedure is simple: the smarts contracts need an external source to provide them with market data and prices. The oracle fulfills that function, and thanks to it, together with the smarts contracts, we can form strategies that are executed automatically, thus enhancing different DeFi protocols.

<h2 id="header-0">Tortle Ninja is one of them.</h2>
Tortle Ninja is a DeFi protocol based on FTM that uses one of the best known oracles (Chainlink). Thanks to the information and data that Chainlink provides, together with the Tortle Smart Contracts, we can build thousands of different strategies through recipes.
Each recipe has its own automated strategy, i.e., we have the possibility to build a DeFi trading bot easily, and we don't need to know how to code to program it.
In this case, Tortle offers us a simple and attractive user experience to create our own DeFi strategies; moreover, if this still seems complicated, you can copy those public strategies and start using them in a couple of clicks.
Sound good? Try it out; it's available now at <a href="https://tortle.ninja/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Tortle.Ninja</a>
