<p>The Decentralized Perpetual Trading Protocol (DPTP) is a promising project aimed at creating DeFi exchange platforms that are accessible, simple, and secure for perpetual futures trading. Its second version includes Futures Bridge which promisingly drives a progressive move towards derivatives in DeFi.</p><h2 id="header-0"><strong>Vision</strong></h2><h3 id="strong-purposes-of-creating-dptp-2-0-strong"><strong>Purposes of creating DPTP 2.0</strong></h3><p>Primarily, the project targeted creating a futures trading version 2 product with smoother orderbook processing capability and lower operating costs.</p><p>Since blockchains’ designs and protocols are greatly different and the capabilities offered by their networks often exist in isolation, it is difficult for users in DeFi to move assets from one blockchain to another.</p><p>The birth of DPTP 2.0 will eliminate the problem of interoperability as it allows users to participate in transactions with multiple blockchains through Futures Bridge while enhancing user experience with lower slippage, lower cost, and greater transaction volume compared to the existing version.</p><p>Moreover, Position Exchange offers DPTP version 2 with improved functions to support users at our best like a Centralized Exchange (CEX) platform.</p><h3 id="strong-positive-changes-of-dptp-2-0-strong"><strong>Positive changes of DPTP 2.0</strong></h3><p>There are some benefits that DPTP 2.0 brings about:</p><ul><li>Lower gas fee.</li><li>Lower operating costs.</li><li>Creating a futures exchange that enables users to profit quickly and leverage their investment for greater gains.</li><li>Constructing an on-chain public exchange that is transparent and allows users to check all of their transactions.</li><li>Granting users the ability to place orders directly from their DeFi wallets.</li></ul><h2 id="header-1"><strong>Overview</strong></h2><h3 id="strong-target-groups-strong"><strong>Target groups</strong></h3><p>DPTP version 2 is created to provide DeFi users and token holders in general with a convenient way to trade derivatives while diversifying the cryptocurrency market.</p><h3 id="strong-needs-strong"><strong>Needs</strong></h3><ul><li>In a crypto futures market that is currently dominated by CEX platforms, transparency is relatively low. DPTP 2.0 arises as a workaround because it works 100% on-chain, allows users to check transactions, and gains better control of their own assets with no deposit required.</li><li>Since CEX do not allow users to access their own private keys, users have no choice but to wait until the exchange reopens services before they can access their funds. Because DPTP facilitates users to have complete control over their money, the risk of losing assets due to bankruptcy like in CEX is effectively managed.</li><li>At the moment, there is no 100% Decentralized derivative for DeFi products. By using the Orderbook mechanism, DPTP 2.0 helps to diversify the DeFi market and provides users with more tools to make more money with less capital.</li></ul><h3 id="strong-product-strong"><strong>Product</strong></h3><p>DPTP is a 100% on-blockchain Decentralized Derivatives Protocol that uses an Orderbook mechanism that provides traders with a convenient way to trade derivatives right from their DeFi wallet. Position Exchange introduced DPTP with the aim of creating a futures exchange where token holders can use leverage to make quicker and higher profits. Gas and transaction fees are reduced thanks to DPTP.</p><p>DPTP’s unique selling points (USP) are:</p><ul><li>100% on-chain.</li><li>The first ever to use Orderbook on EVM, making it easier for users to transact in a CEX-like experience.</li><li>Lower charges compared to other current CEX.</li></ul><h3 id="strong-business-goals-strong"><strong>Business Goals</strong></h3><p>With DPTP, our goal is to gain 50 thousand new users, 200 thousand positions opened each month and an average trading volume of $20 million per day of all pairs within the next 12 months.</p><h2 id="header-2"><strong>DPTP 2.0 - An upgraded version</strong></h2><p>At the moment, we already have the Decentralized Perpetual Trading Protocol (DPTP) mainnet on the BNB chain with two pairs, namely BTC-BUSD and BNB-BUSD.</p><p>We have successfully implemented an on-chain order book and matching engine on EVM blockchains, which enables a more efficient transaction process. To reduce the cost and boost DPTP’s efficiency, we will move its core, regarding its Orderbook and matching engine, to the POSI Chain while users can still interact on the BNB Chain.</p><p>Utilizing the advantages compared to competitors, Position Exchange has decided to develop and upgrade DPTP to a new version called The Futures Bridge or DPTP 2.0.</p><p>Futures Bridge helps Decentralized Perpetual Trading Protocol become a trading protocol with low transaction fees, and fast transaction processing speed. By Futures Bridge, users can work on many different blockchains through a central order book that always ensures decentralization and transparency.</p><p>Futures Bridge represents a protocol connecting blockchains with POSI Chain as the core to enable interactions among them. Different chains can have distinct protocols, rules, and governance models, but the bridge provides a compatible way to interoperate securely on both sides. For the vision of Futures Bridge, we aim at building POSI Chain as the order processing center and bridging the results to the remaining blockchains.</p><p>Thanks to the development of Futures Bridge, users can expect a new version of DPTP with faster processing times, lower fees, more pairs, greater liquidity and leverage, and better performance compared to a Centralized Exchange in the coming time. The second version of DPTP also features a new UI which provides a better and more user-friendly interface. Position Exchange is heading at the best and most complete version of DPTP 2.0 with easy usage, faultlessness, and high credibility.</p>
