<p>A Web2 giant and a Facebook parent Meta has integrated the decentralized data storage protocol Arweave to permanently store digital collectibles from Instagram.Arweave will allow users to retain information forever which cannot be altered once entered. Users also need to purchase the storage space by paying the AR, a native token of Arweave itself. Meta will support different blockchains for NFT issuance including Polygon and Solana.
