<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-english/the-rise-and-fall-of-the-bored-ape-nfts" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Non-fungible tokens (NFTs)</a> are making their way into mainstream games. As a result, MyMetaverse, a game development firm, and blockchain platform Enjin have launched playable NFTs on the servers of well-known games Grand Theft Auto and Minecraft.In an official report published on Wednesday (September 14), a Tech news outlet highlighted the development. According to the report, the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-dictionary/non-fungible-tokens-nft" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> NFTs</a> are from MyMetaverse’s “MetaHome” NFT collection. The NFTs were minted by MyMetaverse on Enjin’s Efinity NFT blockchain. Last year, Enjin established the Efinity chain on the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/polkadot-dot-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> Polkadot network</a>.Users can utilize the NFTs in the MyMetaverse game suite as playable instruments. The MyMetaverse gaming suite includes Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 and Minecraft servers. The GTA 5 and Minecraft servers are called “Infinity Auto” and “Survival Infinity,” respectively.In general, when gamers use NFTs, they assume different forms on different gaming servers. On the Infinity Auto server, NFTs will be seen as seldom functional vehicles by GTA 5 players. Minecraft users, on the other hand, will notice a unique weapon on the Survival Infinity server. Users can operate both forms.Over 100 developers are already working on projects using Enjin’s Efinity chain.According to<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-english/key-technologies-power-metaverse" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> MyMetaverse</a>, these NFTs are not official incorporations from GTA 5 developer Rockstar Games or Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive. Furthermore, neither Minecraft developer Mojang nor its parent firm Microsoft have formally approved the incorporation.In response to the development, MyMetaverse founder and CEO Simon Kertonegoro stated, “We believe the most valuable NFTs will be those that have the foremost influence on people’s everyday lives. The MetaHome collection is an experiment into blockchain-enabled, cross-game interoperability, with utility in three separate games.”Other than Survival Infinity and Infinity Auto, MyMetaverse’s MetaHome collection is already being used on other gaming servers. Furthermore, these NFTs exist entirely on Enjin’s Efinity chain, and they contribute to Enjin’s goal of building the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-english/blockchain-can-revolutionize-international-trade" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> blockchain</a>.Enjin released Efinity on the Polkadot blockchain in March. Enjin established Efinity by integrating the NFT roleplaying game CryptoBlades with its 1.1 million members.
