Prior to the Merge on September 15, the quantity of active addresses on the Ethereum network has climbed by around 10%. Additionally, more than 13.7 million ETH have been pledged in ETH 2.0 overall.

The number of active addresses on the Ethereum network has risen by 47,945 during the past day, according to data from OKLink. The current number of daily active addresses is 536,586 after an increase of over 10%. Additionally, during the past three days, the number of active addresses on the network has been rising. It shows an increase in several on-chain operations as the Ethereum Merge nears.
Staking in<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/ethereum-eth-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> Ethereum (ETH)</a> on the Beacon Chain has also significantly increased. The total amount of ETH staked on the Beacon Chain has reportedly topped 13.7 million, or 11.22% of the total supply, according to report statistics.
The entire value of the ETH pledged in ETH 2.0 is close to $22 billion. Additionally, there are 428,069 validators in total.
Price of Ethereum (ETH) After Merger
The EIP-1559 burning mechanism is expected to cause the price of Ethereum (ETH) to deflate following the Merge. With issuance dropping between 0.5% and 4.5% depending on network fees, the total amount of supply that is now circulating in the market will decrease.
Under the ideal market circumstances, the decrease in supply will raise the price of Ethereum. Due to the waiting period of at least 6 months following each upgrade, it will take time. Additionally, the deflationary or inflationary price will be influenced by<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-english/what-are-gas-fees-in-ethereum-and-how-to-reduce-them" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> the fees for Ethereum gas</a> and validators.
