Acerca de Wisdom Bank Network

A Word From One of Our Founders

Over a 20+ year career, I was Managing Director of trading for a top US Bank, where I managed portfolios of government and agency bonds. I was a market maker buying and selling to and for large institutions. 9/11 was a pivotal day in my career. I was talking on the phone with a friend that worked in the World Trade Center North Tower when the first plane struck the building. Unfortunately, I and others lost many friends that day. Our world has not been the same since that awful day.

One thing I learned over many years was that large companies had an advantage and a loud voice. The little guy seemed to get the short end of the stick where their voices were not being heard. This is especially true today. Inflation is crushing ordinary people. Whether it be groceries, rent, utilities, gas, and almost everything, people are struggling to make things work financially. Yet it seems most of our leaders are more focused on everything but helping its own people.

The first 3 words of the US constitution are, “We the people”. The government is supposed to get its power from the people. The peoples voices are supposed to be heard. There is no difference between all of us. Every man or woman is a king or queen, but nobody wears a crown. In the Declaration of Independence it was so wisely said, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Our founding fathers would be proud of WBN because it was built for the voices of the average person to be heard. I am proud to be one of the many founders of WBN. We all believe there needs to be more good in the world. We all believe WBN is the token of the people, by the people, for the people.
