Injective (INJ) has garnered significant attention in the crypto space with its rallying prices. Having undergone a correction to $20 in April, the token has gained momentum attracting over 50% increase in trading volumes, to reach the value of $ 28.87. As the cryptocurrency community watches closely, the question at hand is whether or not INJ is worth being part of an investor’s portfolio in 2024. Let’s delve deep to find out the possibility.

Understanding Injective Protocol

Injective Protocol is a decentralized derivatives exchange protocol that enables users to trade a wide range of financial products, including futures, perpetual swaps, and spot trading, with high speeds and low fees. Launched in 2020, Injective aims to provide a fully decentralized and permissionless exchange experience.

Injective Protocol offers decentralized trading with Ethereum and Cosmos SDK, allowing for scalable and community-governed trading. INJ token holders can vote on protocol changes. It supports cross-chain trading, providing access to multiple markets.

With low fees, high throughput, and interoperability with other DeFi protocols, Injective is a popular choice for traders seeking a seamless and efficient trading experience.

Injective (INJ) has shown significant growth recently, indicating favorable movement in the market. The price of INJ is $28.87, showing a notable 9.92% rise in the last day, along with impressive gains of 16.90% in the past week and 16.03% in the last month.

The coin has attracted investors’ interest, currently positioned at 48th with a market capitalization of $2.7 billion. The trading volume has experienced a significant increase, hitting $148.9 million within the last day. This growth has placed INJ at the 58th spot in trading volume rankings.

Despite INJ’s price being below its all-time high of $52.75, set on March 14, 2024, three months ago, the coin demonstrates strength and a potential growth of 45.77%.

Recent Developments and Partnerships of INJECTIVE (INJ)

Injective recently announced the release of a comprehensive paper on the Injective Token (INJ), focusing on its core utilities and deflationary acceleration mechanisms.

The protocol also revealed that token burn auctions for INJ are increasing in size, with 12,266 tokens burned indefinitely on the announcement day and a total of 6 million INJ set to be burned by next week.

This burning mechanism aims to reduce the total supply of tokens, increase scarcity, and potentially drive up the value of remaining tokens, benefiting token holders through a deflationary mechanism.

Additionally, Injective announced the upcoming launch of the Injera protocol in collaboration with DojoSwap, introducing USDi, a decentralized synthetic dollar fully backed by Injective’s finance infrastructure.

The Injera money market will serve as a collaterized debt position market for USDi, allowing sensible leveraging of assets. USDi will be governed by the Injera token (ERA), providing stable yields for holders.

This development is expected to increase TVL and trading volume for DojoSwap, generating fees for ecosystem participants.
