Therefore, approximately 260,500 ETH option contracts are expiring.</p><p>The number of expiring Bitcoin options is limited to only 30,500 contracts. Additionally, when options and futures contracts expire, market volatility usually occurs. Crypto markets have been rising lately and there may be a correction.</p><p>Bitcoin options are derivative contracts that allow traders to speculate on the price of BTC. They allow speculators to buy or sell Bitcoin at a certain expiration date at a specific price, known as the strike price. They are also more flexible than futures contracts with fixed expiration dates.</p><h2 id="header-1">Bitcoin Option Data!</h2><p>The put/call ratio in Bitcoin options is 0.99. Additionally, the maximum loss level is $29,000 and the nominal value is $0.93 billion.</p><p>The put/call ratio is calculated by dividing the number of short put contracts traded by the number of long call contracts. A value less than 1 means that bulls have bought more long contracts than bears. The current ratio is quite balanced between bulls and bears.</p><p>The maximum loss level represents the strike price with the most open contracts.
