<p>While <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/is-ethereum-founder-vitalik-buterin-responsible-for-the-crypto-crash-tron-founder-justin-sun-knows-the-reason/">Ethereum</a> remains the most popular blockchain for minting NFTs, smaller blockchains have seen a bump in NFT sales in recent weeks. According to data from CryptoSlam, Cardano briefly overtook Polygon as the fourth-most popular blockchain by NFT sales volume early on Monday, before sliding back to sixth place.</p>
<p>However, Cardano&#8217;s sales were up 86% over the past 24 hours, largely driven by interest in two projects, Goofy Gophers and Spacebudz. Solana has also <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/solana-launches-saga-smartphone-access-to-nfts-and-defi-projects-from-anywhere/">experienced</a> a rise in NFT sales volume over the past seven days, with a jump in sales, unique buyers, and unique sellers on April 22 due to the release of Mad Lads.</p>

<h2 id="polygon-experiences-rise-in-nft-sales-volume">Polygon experiences rise in NFT sales volume</h2>
<p>Polygon has also seen a rise in NFT sales volume in recent days, driven largely by the migration of the Y00ts NFT collection from Solana to <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/polygons-zkevm-faces-strong-competition-from-zksync-era-as-1inch-exchange-onboards-major-defi-protocol/">Polygon</a>. This has been driving much of the movement on OpenSea and Magic Eden, according to a Dune dashboard compiled by NFT researcher Sealaunch.</p>
<p>In summary, while Ethereum remains the top choice for minting NFTs, smaller blockchains such as Cardano, Solana, and Polygon have seen a recent rise in NFT sales volume. Cardano briefly overtook Polygon as the fourth-most popular blockchain for NFT sales, while Solana&#8217;s sales volume has grown by 129% over the past seven days.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Polygon has experienced a rise in NFT sales volume due to the migration of the Y00ts collection.</p>
