Ethereum MEV Bot Drained for $7.5M


An #Ethereum ($ETH) MEV bot known as   jaredfromsubway.eth was drained of roughly $7.5 million on June 20, 2026. The bot is one of the most active sandwich-trading operations on Ethereum and has run since early 2023. Onchain security firm #Blockaid traced the loss and confirmed the figure.


The attacker tricked the bot's automated #trading system into approving attacker-controlled contracts. Blockaid said the incident was not a #phishing attack, a stolen private key, or a bug in a widely used decentralized finance (#DeFi) protocol.
