$BTC Ends Longest Underperformance Streak Against S&P 500

#Bitcoin ($BTC) has closed out the longest period of underperformance against the S&P 500 in its history. Mark Connors, chief investment officer at Risk Dimensions and a former global head of portfolio management at Credit Suisse, said that the 142-day stretch ended in early May and that $BTC is now entering an outperformance phase.

Connors said the shift comes as #investors navigate stubborn inflation and rising uncertainty around interest rates. He described bonds as increasingly vulnerable in a "higher for longer" rate environment. #BTC, he argued, has a consistent #pattern of absorbing early losses during macro #stress before recovering ahead of other assets. "Bitcoin, as it always does, takes it on the chin early, but then it always comes out first," he said.
