Vitalik Buterin Says AI Will Replace Crypto Wallets and Interfaces


#Ethereum ($ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin argues that artificial intelligence will take over the role of #wallets, interfaces, and front-end applications across blockchain networks, while humans remain the underlying principals. "I personally still think of people as being the users," #Buterin said in a recent interview. "I think of #AI as being the replacement for UI."


Buterin described ETH as currently serving two core functions: a public data layer where anyone can post information #on-chain, and a computation layer that supports decentralized applications. He said both functions remain relevant in an AI-driven environment, but that the mechanics of interaction will change substantially, with AI agents managing simultaneous operations across wallets, protocols, and external services on behalf of users.
