#MorganStanley Files for 
$BTC and 
$SOL ETFs
Morgan Stanley submitted registration paperwork with the #SEC on Tuesday for two cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds tracking $BTC and $SOL. The investment bank joins a growing list of traditional finance institutions pushing into regulated digital asset products.
The proposed Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust will operate as passive investment vehicles holding spot tokens. Both funds aim to list shares on public exchanges pending regulatory approval.
Morgan Stanley Investment Management will sponsor the trusts with CSC Delaware Trust Company serving as Delaware trustee. The bank plans to store most private keys in cold storage while maintaining a portion in hot wallets for operational needs.
