Trend Research Pushes 
$ETH Holdings Past $1.8B
Hong Kong investment firm Trend Research has acquired $35 million in $ETH, expanding its position to over 601,000 tokens worth approximately $1.83 billion. The purchase signals continued confidence despite predictions of sharp drawdowns in early 2026.
Blockchain data platform Lookonchain tracked the transaction and showed Trend Research has borrowed a total of $958 million in stablecoins from #Aave. The firm's average purchase price sits at around $3,265 per $ETH across all acquisitions.
Founder Jack Yi declared himself bullish on 
#crypto for the first half of 2026 and pledged to continue buying $ETH until the bull market materializes. Yi said the firm holds “maximum position in #Ethereum” alongside a heavy allocation to World Liberty Financial tokens.
