$ETH ETFs See $232M Exit Before Holidays
Exchange-traded funds tracking #Bitcoin and #Ethereum experienced combined withdrawals of $232 million on Dec. 24 as market participants scaled back positions ahead of the Christmas break. The session reflected broader caution during a period marked by thin #trading conditions and reduced institutional activity.
SoSoValue data showed $175 million exiting Bitcoin-focused products, with BlackRock's IBIT accounting for $91.37 million of the total. Grayscale's GBTC contributed another $24.62 million in outflows as investors moved to the sidelines.
$ETH products saw $57 million in net withdrawals during the same trading day. Grayscale's ETHE led the exits with $33.78 million leaving the fund, bringing its lifetime outflow total to $5.083 billion.
Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust #ETF provided the only notable bright spot, pulling in $3.33 million. The lower-fee product has attracted $1.506 billion in cumulative capital since its debut.
