$ETH Treasury Giant SharpLink Adds $225M to Massive Holdings


#SharpLink Gaming has acquired $225 million worth of $ETH, bringing total holdings to 280,000 tokens valued at $846 million.


The Minneapolis-based firm began purchasing $ETH just over a month ago, following corporate treasury strategies.


Over 99% of SharpLink's $ETH holdings are allocated to staking protocols, earning approximately 94 tokens worth $283,000.


Company shares spiked 3.6% to $24.76 on Tuesday, soaring 160% over the past month alongside rising $ETH prices.


#Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin described buying pressure from treasury firms as an "industrial shop vacuum" mopping up supply.

The firm raised $413 million from share sales while maintaining $257 million in cash for future acquisitions.
