#Metaplanet Surpasses Galaxy Digital With 13,350 $BTC Holdings


Metaplanet has acquired 1,005 additional $BTC for $108.1 million, bringing total holdings to 13,350 $BTC.


The purchase, at a $107,601 average price, makes it the fifth-largest publicly listed corporate Bitcoin holder.


The firm’s holdings now exceed Galaxy Digital's 12,830 $BTC and CleanSpark's 12,502 $BTC positions.


The company increased reserves by 10,000 $BTC in just three months since reaching the 3,350 $BTC milestone.


Metaplanet issued 30 billion yen in zero-interest bonds with a December 2025 redemption for future purchases.


Stock jumped 9.9% following the announcement, gaining 53.5% over the past month and 370.7% year-to-date.


The company’s revised target aims to accumulate over 210,000 $BTC by the end of 2027 through continued acquisitions.


#MicroStrategy continues leading with 592,345 $BTC following last week's 245 $BTC purchase.
