Trump Media has received #SEC approval for its $BTC treasury strategy, unlocking $2.3 billion in institutional investor capital.
The registration allows immediate $BTC purchases, though the company hasn't specified acquisition amounts or a timeline.
Trump Media stated it will acquire $BTC "in the amounts and on the timeline it deems optimal," according to the prospectus.
The filing includes a $12 billion universal shelf allowing future stock, debt, or warrant issuances at any time.
The company operates Truth Social and the Truth+ streaming service, and launched the Truth.fi fintech brand in January 2025.
The #Bitcoin strategy may include purchasing related securities or selling holdings for cash investments under certain conditions.
The approval removes regulatory barriers for one of the largest potential corporate $BTC treasury adoptions in the market.
