$SOL ETF Approval Expected Within Weeks as SEC Requests Filing Updates
The SEC has asked potential
$SOL ETF issuers to submit updated S-1 forms within the next week.
Three sources reportedly confirmed that the agency will provide comments on filings within 30 days of submission.
The SEC specifically requested updates on in-kind redemptions and #staking approaches for
$SOL ETFs.
One industry insider estimates approval could come within three to five weeks.
Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart projects potential approval as early as July 2025.
Major issuers competing include Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, VanEck, Bitwise, Canary Capital, 21Shares and Grayscale.
Bloomberg Intelligence previously boosted approval chances to 90% from 70% in April.
