#Tether Plans Open-Source 
$BTC Mining OS To Challenge Third-Party Vendors
$USDT issuer Tether will open-source its $BTC Mining OS by Q4 2025, CEO Paolo Ardoino announced.
The move aims to eliminate expensive third-party vendor dependencies for new #mining operations.
#Tether's Mining OS features peer-to-peer IoT architecture with scalable and modular design.
The system will support existing mining infrastructure including containers and power devices.
Ardoino expects "a horde of new $BTC mining companies" to enter the market using free software.
The project extends Tether's commitment to $BTC decentralization efforts.
In April, #Tether partnered with Ocean mining pool to decentralize block building through hashrate commitment.
